BIOGRAPHY

Antoine Vidal’s very first sculpture, «Naissance du hasard» was created after his return from a trip to Ivory Coast in 1996. Subsequently, he devoted himself solely to his profession, musician, until 2014 when his passion for sculpture re-emerged becoming an absolute vocation.

His works find resonances in primary arts, African arts, industrial design or cubism. Vidal has matured alone his approach and the technical mastery of his practice.

As music composer, producer, painter or sculptor, Vidal loves art in all forms and his works are characterized by the fusion of his experiences.

Vidal invests the physical matter with sounds and rhythms, as echoes of an unconscious leitmotiv that seem to have always guided his artistic gestures and productions.
